It's our anniversary Baby.

On this day, we went to the church,

To become one for evermore.

It seems like yesterday I heard you say,

“I will love you till death us do part.”

I said my part, in my awkward way.

Oh how I remember the feeling in my heart.

We said our vows to God and each other,

Not giving a thought to what the future would bring.

Because we knew we would face it together,

And together we could face anything.

Remember before we were wed,

In the back of my truck, I made a bed.

We did nothing but wish on falling stars.

There were seven or eight, it was so bizarre.

I made the same wish, every single time.

They came true, now you're mine for a lifetime.

They say after a few years, the feeling goes away,

But someone lied, I love you more everyday.

I hope that you never have a regret,

I love you more so don't you forget,

The day you said I do and I will,

And we became an eternal duet.

I want to make this one the best,

So it will be the only thing you think of.
