January Cry

In January's chill, a cry filled the air,

Fifty thousand souls, for all of those we care.

For freedom they stood, hearts burning bright,

Fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters caught in the night.

Relatives weeping, friends are in despair,

While the world turned away, acting like they didn't care.

They marched for their lives, but the silence rang loud,

In the face of injustice, can the world still be proud?

Oh, beautiful Iran, your spirit won't fade,

In the shadows of sorrow, true legends are made.

Is the world so numb to the cries that we hear?

We will rise up together, we will not live in fear

The world praises terrorists, while angels fall,

Families shattered like a fragile wall.

Every name a story, it echoes through time,

In the hearts of their loved ones, forever they'll climb.

The world must see, all the people that have died,

It is time for all the world to stand and take a side.

With love in our hearts, we raise up our voice,

Together in solidarity, let freedom be our choice.
