When I’m feeling down, and my mind is in a haze,

I take the medicine, that guides me through life’s maze.

It is not a pill, a shot, some syrup or moonshine.

Music is the medicine for my mind.

Life can be chaotic, yank you one way, then the next.

Trying to figure out, which road you should follow,

Can leave you bewildered, off balance and perplexed.

Start feeling stuck in the mud, and just want to wallow.

When I feel that way, I know to take a full dose,

Of the thing that puts, my mind back in line.

It is the medicine you can carry, and keep close.

Blows away the haze, and leaves me feeling fine.

If they just open their minds, and quit throwing a fit.
