Son of Man

In the shadows where the ancients tread,

Son of Man, filled with Righteousness, He bled.

He shall loosen the reigns of the mighty and proud,

As they refuse to praise, lost in the dark crowd.

Darkness shall be their dwelling, a fate so grim,

While worms shall be their bed, away from Him.

Son of Man, worthy are you to be praised,

Let us not forget to give you the holy kiss.

The angels stand ready, their voices arrayed,

We await your return, our hearts in bliss.

Named in presence divine, before all was made,

The sun and the signs, in the glory displayed.

Stars of the heavens twinkled at His birth,

He is the light of Gentiles, a beacon of worth.

Hope to the troubled, lost in despair,

Son of Man, our refuge, forever there.

Son of Man, worthy are you to be praised,

Let us not forget to give you the holy kiss.

The angels stand ready, their voices arrayed,

We await your return, our hearts in bliss.

Our Father abides over the Saints, a sight,

With Son of Man, they feast in the holy light.

Deep are Your secrets, beyond what we see,

Righteousness flows like a river, wild and free.

Let us glorify Him, the Lord of all kings,

King over kings, the music of heaven sings.

Seated on glory's throne, judgment is near,

Sinners shall pass away, consumed by their fear.

For Son of Man has appeared, His glory shines,

In light of the Son of Man, we find our place.
