Sweet Justice

Sweet Justice

Lyrics

Sweet Justice
I don’t believe in the law,
It is designed to benefit the lawless.
Let the lawman worry about the law,
I believe in Sweet Justice.
I want justice when a thief, breaks into my house.
The law would just give them, a slap on the wrist.
When they get out, they will just do it again.
They try to rob my house, they will go out feet first.
The law has never done anything for me,
Sweet justice is what I crave, it’s all that I want to see.
Laws were made for the lawless, not the innocent.
You can keep the law, it is sweet justice for me.
Say, they catch a pedophile, he stays a day or two in jail.
It seems they get the best lawyers, they get them out on bail.
If we got justice, they would never see the light of day.
They would be hung up by their privates, if I had my way.
It seems that the jailhouse just has a revolving door.
They catch a drug dealer, turn them lose to deal some more.
Let’s take the drug dealer and stick the drugs up his rectum.
In time he might straighten up and people would respect him.
The law has never done anything for me,
Sweet justice is what I crave, it’s all that I want to see.
Laws were made for the lawless, not the innocent.
You can keep the law, it is sweet justice for me.
Our politicians lie to us and steal from us every day.
If a common man did what they did we’d be under the jail.
They are paid thousands and somehow make millions.
They keep making promises of change and continue to fail.
I am hoping for the day we can take them all to task.
That they can do the right thing, should we even have to ask?
Quit thinking of themselves and put the people and nation first,
Try to make things better instead of making everything worse.
The law has never done anything for me,
Sweet justice is what I crave, it’s all that I want to see.
Laws were made for the lawless, not the innocent.
You can keep the law, it is sweet justice for me.
The law doesn’t matter, if you can’t get sweet justice.
