The Curse of Gall and Wormwood

In shadows deep where whispers lead, a curse takes hold tonight

The sky is torn, the angels mourn, as darkness blinds the light

He that turns away from God, he walks the path of pain

Bearing roots of Gall and Wormwood, entangled in disdain

The jealousy of Heaven’s wrath ignites a fiery dread

True warriors of faith shall rise while the false ones fall like lead

Wormwood shall be your food, and Gall will fill your cup

Those who twisted truth with lies, behold, they’ve given up

Be not as prophets seeking gain, their fate is sealed by fire

For in the depths of bitter waters lies the chains of false desire

The angel sounds a clarion call, as Wormwood rains from the sky

One-third of man shall fall and break, in the bitter flood we die

A cursed breed, deceived and lost, in darkness we shall wade

For all that lives in wrathful sin, by Gall and Wormwood is betrayed

Wherefore doth a man lament, for the punishment of sin?

The rod of truth shall strike the hearts, bring darkness deep within

Let us cleanse our hands in faith, redeem the soul we’ve lost

Seek the Way of the Cross tonight, and rise above the cost

Lift up your heart, with hands ablaze, to God in the heavens high

In the storm of despair, as the angels weep and cry

Bitter waters churn around, a river of regret
