The Struggle of Grace

In the beginning, there was light divine,
God Created all, His love intertwined,
But Mankind Fell from grace, in shadows they dwell,
Lost in the whispers of the darkness, a spell.
God Expelled the first, in the garden lost,
Mankind Rebelled, unaware of the cost.
Through the ages, the spirit grew tired,
With each step away, the heart's love expired.
