Walk This Path With Me

If I stumble and fall, I don't worry,

Because God is watching, over me.

He will pick me up, put me on my feet,

And place me on the path, I should be.

Will you walk this path with me?

While growing up, I went in several directions,

Working different jobs, trying new things.

I failed at times, but it never got me down.

I mostly succeeded, reaching for those brass rings.

You can’t go through life, afraid to fail.

Failure, is part of the learning experience.

A person that has never, failed at something,

Is someone that takes life, way too serious.

Don’t be afraid to get out, and try new things.

Take what you know, in a different direction.

Be the bull in a china shop, but if it breaks, fix it.

Just strive for comfortable, don’t expect perfection.

If I stumble and fall, I don't worry,

Because God is watching over me.

And place me on the path I should be.

Perfection is way over rated, and hard to achieve.

Keep the Lord in your heart, and do your best,

And everything will eventually, be as it should.

You will find heaven at the end of your quest.

Going to heaven, is what I’m working toward.

That is the one goal, I will not fail reaching.

My feet are on the path, God has put me on,

And I will make it following the Lord’s teaching.
