The Jealousy of Darkness

In the void, where shadows creep,

God’s whisper shattered the silence deep,

"Let there be light," in thunderous roar,

But Darkness stirred, craving more.

Cain, the leader with jealousy’s grasp,

Abel’s gift marked him with the past,

An evil spirit wove a scheme,

In cold-blooded fury, he shattered the dream.

Proof of Darkness in the night,

Jealousy fueling the eternal fight,

Wicked whispers in the air,

Evil lurking everywhere.

King David, shepherd under God's gaze,

Fought the giant in blood-soaked blaze,

Told Goliath, "In the Lord I stand!"

A fate forged in faith, a mighty hand.

But Saul’s heart burned with envious flame,

An evil spirit drove him insane,

Javelin flying with murderous intent,

Yet David, the chosen, to heaven was sent.

Proof of Darkness in the night,

Jealousy fueling the eternal fight,

Wicked whispers in the air,

Evil lurking everywhere.

Satan, the tempter, with malice and lies,

Tested the faithful, as Job’s hope cries,

Leviathan rising, the shadows will come,

A darkened reality, a beating drum.

Jesus stood mighty, revealing the truth,

Judged by the world, stripped of his youth,

On the cross, in agony bound,

The sky turned dark as hope hit the ground.

Darkness roared, believing it won,

But the stone rolled away, with the rising sun,

Hope resurrected, light breaking free,

In the face of darkness, He conquered for me.

So remember the tale, of light and dark strife,

The battle’s not over, it’s a fight for our life,

In the shadow’s embrace, don’t falter or flee,

For in the end, His light will break free.
