The Sound of Sunshine

Have you ever heard the sound sunshine makes

When it's filtering down through the trees?

Gently bouncing from limb to limb,

Lightly touching the colorful leaves.

Have you ever heard the sound sunshine makes

When it's warming the frost covered ground?

It makes the frost glisten and shine,

The grass emits a clicking sound.

Sunshine,

The sound of sunshine.

It awakes the world with it's affray.

Sunshine,

The sound of sunshine.

The sweetest sound God ever made.

Have you ever heard the sound sunshine makes

When it licks the ice on a country lake?

The ice creaks and cracks loudly,

Warning everything not another step to take.

Have you ever heard the sound sunshine makes

When it's reflecting off a babbling stream?

Skipping from rock to rock in a joyful way,

Like disco lights, sparkling as in a dream.

Sunshine,

The sound of sunshine.

It awakes the world with it's affray.

Sunshine,

The sound of sunshine.

The sweetest sound God ever made.

Sunshine,

The sound of sunshine.

It awakes the world with it's affray.

Sunshine,

The sound of sunshine.

The sweetest sound God ever made.

Have you ever heard the sound sunshine makes?
