Like Home To Me

It had been my life long dream to see the ocean.

Now my deepest desire and dream has come true.

I finally got to take a plunge in the surging ocean.

Now my body, heart and soul feels brand new.

The moment I saw the ocean I had tears in my eyes.

They were happy tears that I just couldn’t hold back.

I could not be stopped from rushing in with open arms.

Hugging the waves as they came in and drifted back.

The ocean feels like home to me.

If I had a choice, I would never leave.

Painting the most beautiful picture I had ever seen.

Waves, sky, boats, birds, jelly fish, people and pets.

All blue, white, brown, black, red and shades of green.

The waves made me feel like I was moving forward.

It was an overwhelming feeling I will never forget.

Standing against the waves, a little off balance,

Though a little dizzying, I managed to keep my feet set.
