I’m so grateful for the fact You see what we can’t

We’re so concerned with outward appearance with what we’re looking at

But with You oh glorious and amazing Father You tend to see much farther

Than the blind, partial, ditch-dwellers we are

We judge based upon ourselves, our own feelings

Relegating someone’s quality level through the lens of our misgivings

Other than what God has deemed good qualities

And not a soul is trying to emulate any of them

O practice of futility!

God see my heart

Beyond the lies and veneer

Know my deepest stillness and sunder my Gibraltaric glacier

I didn’t come to play I’m Your warrior!

Brand me with Your dear love and sobering fear

Test me, try me, but please apply my God-given idiosyncrasies

Do away with the falsities I’ve created as walls for publicities

I forthrightly request of You, my Shield

To be the sole desire I have —my treasure under my purchased field

I cordially request the dying hunger, the desperate thirst required to serve You

In eternal terms, God

Wont You see my heart?

And understand I don’t want any inbetween

It’s all or nothing and I wanna see what I’ve never seen

If loving You is wrong I don’t wanna be right
