Searching for Purpose

In this quiet room, shadows flicker and fade,

As I ponder the life that I've made,

Why am I here, with questions in my heart,

Maybe God knows, but it's tearing me apart.

Oh, I've wandered these roads, lost my way,

Friends and family gone, in the light of day,

I've made my mistakes, still, I keep trying,

In the depths of my soul, there's a part that's crying.

I feel so alone in this vast, empty space,

This world's gone to hell, can't seem to keep pace,

Searching for answers, but they're running away,

Like leaves in the wind, they just fade into gray.

What is my purpose, where do I belong?

Through the echoes of life, I hear an old song,

Maybe it's love, or the dreams we chase,

But in this chaos, I still search for grace.

I've walked through the darkness, tried to find light,

Every tear that I shed, every sleepless night,

In the whispers of doubt, I hear my voice call,

Keep fighting your battles, you will not fall.
