Snuggling With My Baby

We were sitting in the porch swing,

Watching a spring storm roll by.

Not worried about the lightning,

Covered with a blanket, ears and eyes.

Snuggling with my baby is what I live for.

Snuggling with my baby, I just want more.

Not thinking of what is, or what may be.

Laid back, snuggling with my baby.

I get to missing the feel of her skin.

Sometimes I will leave work early,

Just to get some snuggling in.

If I didn’t I might get a little squirrely.

It is an addiction I can’t ignore,

I wouldn’t hide from it if I could.

We are always looking forward to explore,

Any way we can snuggle is good.

If we could, we would snuggle all day,

And for sure we would snuggle all night.

As long as you are snuggling, you can’t fight.
