Feeling of Fear

Sometimes it's pleasure, sometimes it's pain.

Sometimes I feel loss, sometime I feel gain.

Sometimes just knowing, that you are near,

Almost always pushes back, my feeling of fear.

When you leave I have fear, you may not return.

I know I should not worry, but it is my concern.

You say that you feel like, we are joined at the hip.

That ever so often, to be alone, you take a trip.

When you are not here, my thoughts run wild.

I imagine all sorts of things, as if I were a child.

Could you be kidnapped, robbed or maybe worse?

My thoughts of you being, unfaithful is my curse.

In the beginning we didn’t know, the word smother.

No one ever saw one of us, without seeing the other .

Everyone said we were like, two peas in a pod.

It never occurred to me, anyone would think it odd.

We were best friends, long before we were lovers.

Now I try to stay close, and you say I just hover.

We must do something, to get back to were we began.

Need to forget we are married, and be friends again.
