Starlet was a tiny star
The world could never see
The big stars just laughed at her
They said she would never be
The kind of star she dreamed about
She was not big enough
A star that could shine big and bright
A star the world could love!

She was such a tiny star
She began to cry
The Old Moon heard her crying
He stopped to ask her why?
He said it did not matter
How big or small you are
He told her to keep shining!
And the world would see for sure!

One night Starlet fell to earth
She heard a baby cry
She looked into a stable
And said, oh maybe I
Can shine for the baby
But can I shine enough?
When the baby smiled and touched her
Starlet, felt the baby’s love!

Starlet rose into the sky!
She heard the Herald Angels sing!
Praising and rejoicing!
The new born baby king!
She became more glorious!
As she rose high above!
Now she was shining big and bright!
Like a star the world could love!

Starlet was the greatest star
The world would ever see!
Everyone adored her!
She would forever be!
The kind of star she dreamed about
She was big enough!
